The Prospect Research Analyst reports to the Manager of Prospect Research and Data Analytics and provides donor and organization research/analytics services to our regional health ministries (RHMs) across Trinity Health. The Prospect Research Analyst role performs in-depth prospect research on current and potential donors. Proactively identifies and researches prospects and analyzes biographical, financial, or other data obtained from a variety of internal and external sources to determine capacity and inclination to give. The Prospect Research Analyst is also responsible for entering prospect research data into the Trinity Health standard donor data management system, developing and producing prospect research reports and other prospect dashboard/metric data analytics. The Prospect Research Analyst interacts regularly with our RHM Foundation and Development Office colleagues regarding prospect research requests and data results. This role provides valuable information to our RHM Foundation & Development Office Colleagues so they can facilitate effective cultivation and solicitation of Major Gifts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Fundraising, Business Administration, Health Administration or related field is preferred. 1-3 years of previous experience with Fundraising Operations or Prospect Research required. Healthcare or Higher Education fundraising experience is preferred. Knowledge of Data Analytic Tools such as statistical models, data mining techniques, wealth screening tools is preferred. Such tools may include, but not limited to, are: ResearchPoint, Lexis Nexis, Hoovers, Guidestar, NOZA Search, Foundation Search, and Foundation Directory. Knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, Blackbaud CRM Analytics, or other Donor Data Management software is preferred. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop and deliver accurate, confidential, detailed reports on prospective donors. Familiarity with the donor solicitation cycle (Identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship) is preferred.
