Key Responsibilities- Operate various production line equipment safely and efficiently.
- Relieve operators at different workstations as assigned.
- Perform start-up, shutdown, and changeover activities when required.
- Monitor machine performance and product quality during operation.
- Conduct routine checks and inspections on equipment.
- Report equipment faults, quality deviations, and safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S and GMP requirements.
- Complete production records and documentation accurately.
- Follow production schedules and work instructions.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving minor operational issues.
- Support stock handling, material replenishment, and packaging activities when required.
- Adhere to all food safety, quality, environmental, and safety standards.
- Participate in shift handovers and team meetings.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to improve line performance.
- Comply with all company safety procedures and regulations.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report unsafe acts and conditions immediately.
- Maintain product quality standards and food safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and company quality systems.
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or beverage production environment.
- Ability to operate multiple production line machines.
- Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
