What We Offer• Monitor and continually improve plant reliability to achieve enhanced levels of efficiency, availability, and OEE targets; apply understanding of plant/production processes to identify and evaluate process improvement and modification opportunities in collaboration with Process Technology and Production teams.
• Lead multi-discipline root cause failure analysis (RCFA/RCA) for significant or recurring failures and develop predictive and preventive maintenance plans to eliminate loss recurrence.
• Develop, maintain, and improve reliability methodologies including RCM, RBI, FMEA, SIL, RAM, criticality ranking, condition monitoring, and lifecycle planning; analyze equipment history, bad actors, downtime trends, and maintenance effectiveness to drive improvement actions.
• Develop long-term maintenance strategy and improvement of plant reliability and integrity in alignment with the Covestro engineering and maintenance framework.
• Maintain and improve maintenance systems and methodologies for continuous improvement, including SAP Plant Maintenance module e.g. AKZ, equipment master, BOM, task lists, maintenance plans, functional locations, and spare part specifications.
• Identify and implement energy saving opportunities through reliability and equipment optimization including energy consumption reduction initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through losses analysis and development of predictive and preventive maintenance plans; support Operation Excellence implementation.
• Act as the main focal point for the annual shutdown including planning, scheduling, readiness review, execution control, progress tracking, and lessons learned.
• Act as focal point for CAPEX projects and expenditure control; lead capital projects related to plant operation including scope definition, cost estimate, schedule, execution planning, and progress monitoring using SAP Project System (PS).
• Ensure projects comply with safety, technical standards, budget, and schedule requirements in line with CapEx framework managed by the Plant Asset Manager.
• Ensure engineering documentation, technical records, and reliability data are accurate, updated, and properly controlled.
• Ensure compliance with Covestro HSE standards, local regulatory requirements, and Process Safety Management (PSM) - Mechanical Integrity (MI) element.
• Proactively supports the process of harmonizing / standardizing material and spare part specifications to improve maintenance reliability and maintenance cost
What You Offer• At least Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or other related fields.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in project engineering, project management, plant maintenance, plant inspection, and reliability engineering in oil & gas, chemical or at least 10 years in related industrial plants.
• Knowledge of RCFA, RCM, FMEA, RBI, SIL, RAM, criticality assessment, and condition monitoring.
• Understanding of maintenance planning, asset lifecycle, Mechanical Integrity (MI), facility asset management, and PSM requirements.
• Proven experience in capital project management in scope, cost, schedule, and execution.
• Experience with shutdown/turnaround planning and execution.
• Familiar with SAP Plant Maintenance module and SAP Project System (PS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good planning, organization, and time management.
• Effective cross-functional teamwork and communication skills.
• Good written and spoken Thai and English.
• Experience with Operation Excellence frameworks and implementation is preferable.
• Experience in KPI benchmarking across multi-site operations is preferable.
