Everforth ECS is seeking a Release Train Engineer Senior to work in our Winchester, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Manages and optimizes the flow of value through the ART and Solution Train using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanban and other information radiators. Facilitates Program Increment (PI) planning readiness by fostering the preparation of vision and backlogs, and through pre- and post-PI Planning meetings. Facilitates the PI planning event. Assists tracking the execution of features and capabilities. Assists with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary. Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets. Helps manage risks and dependencies. Escalates and track impediments. Improves the flow of value through value streams using the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps. Facilitates system demos and solution demos. Drives relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assesses the agility level of the ART and Solution Train and helps them improve.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- TS/SCI clearance
- Current SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) Certification
- Minimum of 4 years experience utilizing Jira to track work for the ART.
- Previously served as a RTE on a program of similar scope with 50+ FTE.
