What will I be doing:

The Release Engineering team cover the whole Darktrace product suite, helping to create software updates and ensuring their stability. The team also plays a key role in troubleshooting software issues, collaborating closely with our Support Engineers and acting as a crucial liaison to our Development Team.  In this role you will gain a broad understanding of large areas of the Darktrace product suite alongside opportunities to take on small projects, allowing you to utilise and develop your scripting skills. You will also be;

This is a hybrid role, with a compulsory attendance of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.

What experience do I need:

You should have a demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and analytical thinking, along with the ability to leverage tools and data for troubleshooting and optimization. Candidates should also be familiar with Linux command lines and scripting languages like Python or Bash. Soft skills would include:

  • The ability to collaborate with others as well as working independently,
  • A strong desire for continual learning.

While previous experience in DevOps or QA roles would be beneficial, it is not a prerequisite.

Benefits we offer:

  • 23 days’ holiday + all public holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years of service,
  • Additional day off for your birthday,
  • Private medical insurance which covers you, your cohabiting partner and children,
  • Life insurance of 4 times your base salary,
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme,
  • Enhanced family leave,
