As a Release Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our deployment process — helping coordinate software releases, assist with tools and automation, and support the smooth rollout of updates across products. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of software development practices and a desire to grow into more complex release management responsibilities.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented team player who’s comfortable working with technical teams, learning new tools, and ensuring our release cycles are stable and predictable.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and coordination of software releases across products;
- Assist with tracking release activities and communicating status updates;
- Help manage release artifacts, documentation, and version control;
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to verify readiness for deployment;
- Participate in deployment execution and monitoring;
- Identify and report release issues or delays promptly;
- Maintain basic CI/CD pipeline tasks in tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps;
- Contribute to post-release reviews and documentation.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in project management or QA;
- Some exposure to release or deployment processes (formal or informal);
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows (Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.);
- Basic knowledge of Agile software development and version control;
- Comfort using tools like ChatGPT or documentation for issue resolution;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Eagerness to learn and grow into a senior release role.
Responsibilities:
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of any scripting languages of Python, Java, or similar
- Good English proficiency, both written and spoken.
