Job Summary
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with a portfolio of clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing comprehensive banking solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.
Job Responsibilities
* Proactively manage and grow a portfolio of high-net-worth or corporate clients, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
* Develop a deep understanding of clients' financial situations, objectives, and risk appetites to provide tailored banking products and services, including loans, deposits, investments, and wealth management solutions.
* Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessments for clients, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and present compelling financial proposals and solutions to clients, effectively communicating benefits and addressing concerns.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving inquiries, addressing issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including product specialists, credit analysts, and operations teams, to deliver seamless client service.
* Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
* Achieve sales and revenue targets for the assigned portfolio, contributing to the overall growth of the bank.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relationship management within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with exposure to a specific client segment (e.g., retail, corporate, or private banking).
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
* Strong understanding of banking products and services, including lending, deposits, investments, and treasury solutions.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to analyze financial data, assess risk, and make sound recommendations.
* Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CMFAS) are an advantage.
