Position Overview:
Neuberger Berman is searching for a driven client coverage professional with experience working in an international environment, interacting with clients and investment professionals on a daily basis. Our multi-lingual, Swiss team is comprised of 12 people, travelling to various client locations in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. We cover Swiss Pension Funds, Insurance companies and Consultants, and meet their needs with fitting solutions via Neuberger Berman investment capabilities and products. Furthermore, the candidate will be working closely with our institutional client coverage team and will benefit from a broad offering of strategies across public and private markets as well as from an existing and successful Swiss footprint.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify, cultivate prospects and current client relationships, managing a sales pipeline from opportunity through to completion.
- Make outbound business development calls, organize/hold successful client meetings to generate new business and strategic relationships with investors.
- Build on the Neuberger Berman’s brand presence in the region, be an ambassador to the market and elevate the awareness for comingled funds and customized mandates.
- Closely work with Neuberger Berman’s Institutional & Insurance Solutions, Public & Private Markets Product Specialists, Marketing, RFP’s and Client Service teams and diligently respond to client needs and requests.
- Smartly and diligently use our internal CRM system to track progress and map opportunities.
- Maintain awareness of our industry, clients, and regulatory trends in order to craft and offer suitable investment solutions.
Key Requirements / Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in client coverage at Asset Management or Consultant firms, dealing with Swiss institutional investors
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Solution minded, flexible and a commercial attitude
- Advanced knowledge of financial services industry and investment products
- A team player but also a self-starter and entrepreneurial
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and a positive attitude
- Languages: Swiss German, fluent in English. French and/or Italian is a plus
- University degree or equivalent title
- CFA or equivalent is a plus
