In your Relationship Manager role you will protect and retain all clients in your portfolio, along with enabling growth by ensuring you are value-adding to client relationships.

You will act as the primary point of contact between the Client and Maxxia and the aim of the role is to be regarded as an industry expert and trusted business partner.

It is the responsibility of this role to achieve 100% client retention, solid program participation growth and develop relationships within the client organisation. You will also achieve access to client sites to provide employee education & awareness activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the strategy for each account, which will include the Employer Profile, Organisational Structure, Key Stakeholder identification, SWOT, Pricing, Marketing, Education and Engagement strategy
  • Maintain or increase program participation rates toward benchmark levels for each account within the portfolio
  • Manage contract renewal and contract negotiation processes, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Plan and facilitate the execution of sales and marketing plans through multiple channels, including on-site event activity   
  • Proactively engage with internal stakeholders, industry parties and business suppliers as required to ensure sales outcomes are achieved
  • Work with Relationship Support Officers to maintain accurate client contact details, insights and data
  • Act as an advocate on customers behalf by communicating employer feedback and information to ensure optimal level of service is provided
  • Review and present program performance at regular Client Program Review meetings, documenting and actioning all outcomes from these meetings
  • Monitor sales and portfolio performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive initiatives and constantly seek business improvements to enhance customer service delivery.

You will bring:

  • 3 - 5 years relationship management/account management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies to build and retain loyalty
  • The ability to effectively oversee customer escalations, directing enquiries to the correct team for resolution
  • Experience in contributing to the development of sales strategies and plans
  • A track record of achieving targets and high levels of customer engagement
  • Proficient in the use of client relationship management systems
  • Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Commerce or other business-related discipline desirable but not essential
  • The ability to travel regionally at least for one week per quarter plus other adhoc travel as required
  • Clean and Current Australian Driver’s License
