Relationship Manager

Job Summary
The Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions to achieve their financial goals.
Job Responsibilities
* Proactively identify, acquire, and onboard new High Net Worth (HNW) or corporate clients, developing a robust client pipeline through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of HNW or corporate clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
* Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis and provide comprehensive financial advice and solutions across a range of products including deposits, investments, loans, and wealth management services.
* Collaborate with product specialists, credit analysts, and other internal stakeholders to deliver integrated and holistic banking solutions to clients.
* Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks for clients.
* Prepare and present financial proposals, conduct regular client reviews, and manage client expectations effectively.
* Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, banking regulations, and ethical standards.
* Achieve individual and team sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Maintain accurate client records and documentation in the bank's systems.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in relationship management within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with exposure to HNW or corporate clients.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
* Strong understanding of banking products and services, including investments, loans, and wealth management.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to analyze financial data, interpret market trends, and provide sound financial advice.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, SC licenses) will be an added advantage.
* Proficiency in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia
