SUMMARY

The Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of Commercial and/or Commercial Real Estate clients that lead to commercial and/or commercial real estate loans (Non-Owner Occupied), deposits and other banking products offered by the Bank.  The Relationship Manager must assist with the management of the Department sales and service efforts to ensure retention of existing relationships and growth of new relationships.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 

  1. Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  2. Participate in all Department functions necessary to contribute to the achievement of Department earnings and growth objective.        Actively participate in various community and civic activities. Assist with the management of the Department budget to ensure that deposit, loan and net income goals are met.
  3. Work with the Manager to ensure that all Bank operating and lending policies and procedures are properly implemented and followed.
  4. Assist in properly following and implementing all Bank audit procedures.
  5. Assist the manager to ensure that the Bank's CRA policies and objectives are adhered to in the Department. 
  6. Assist with the management of the Department sales and service efforts to ensure retention of existing relationships and growth of new relationships.  
  7. Manage personal sales efforts in order to meet Department goals.
  8. Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Four year college or university program degree; or three (3) to five (5) years Commercial Real Estate or Banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.   Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.   Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Salary Range:$73,770.00 To $191,292.00 Annually


40 hours per week.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree OR 3-5 years Commercial Real Estate or Banking experience
  • Knowledge of federal and state banking laws, policies, and lending procedures
  • Ability to read, interpret, write routine reports and speak effectively to groups
  • Ability to calculate financial figures, apply basic algebra and geometry
  • Proven sales skills to meet departmental deposit, loan and net income goals
  • Ability to follow audit procedures and adhere to CRA objectives
