How you'll make an impact

As a Relationship Manager, Commercial Financing, you'll be responsible for growing a loan portfolio and managing relationships with entrepreneurs in the agribusiness and food and beverage market. You'll work closely with customers to understand their operations and business goals, tailoring financing solutions and advisory support to help them succeed.

You’ll be part of a team that works closely with other departments at FCC. Together, you’ll cultivate long-term partnerships, share knowledge and contribute to a culture of learning, innovation and customer-centricity.

What you'll bring to the team
Required qualifications:

  • A degree in agriculture, business, commerce, finance, or a related field

  • Minimum 1-2 years of related experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, relationship management and business development (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • Experience managing a commercial loan portfolio

  • Experience communicating financial information or recommendations clearly to customers or internal partners

  • Proven ability to build and maintain business relationships, including engaging with customers, centres of influence or community partners

  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel for customer meetings

  • Knowledge of the broader ag-food value chain

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of commercial financing, risk assessment, and credit adjudication
