We're looking for a Reinsurance Specialist to play a key role in the day-to-day administration of our Life, DI, Annuity, and NSLAC reinsurance programs. In this role, you'll process premium transactions and policy updates, support death claim activity, and help ensure our reinsurance data is accurate and up to date across systems.
You'll prepare monthly and quarterly reports, partner with internal teams and external reinsurers to reconcile any discrepancies and contribute to process and system enhancements. Your work will directly support accurate financial reporting, strong data integrity, and ongoing compliance.

- Processing payment and death claims

- Analytical analysis of contracts and policy data
- Completing daily, monthly, and quarterly reports

What sets you up for success
- A bachelor's degree is preferred; equivalent experience in reinsurance, insurance operations, financial services or accounting considered
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex data
- Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Ability to learn and navigate reinsurance systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume work and competing deadlines
- Clear and professional communication skills
