Schedule: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite after being in-office 100% the first 3 months )
Purpose:
Quadax, a leader in healthcare revenue cycle management, is seeking a Reimbursement Analyst to join the company’s Revenue Cycle Services (RCS) division. This position uses advanced analytics to maximize revenue for our clients and demonstrate Quadax as a market leader in revenue cycle management (RCM).
The successful candidate will support and operationalize the Quadax Reimbursement Management program by performing routine monthly accounts receivable analysis and identifying payer reimbursement trends across the revenue cycle. This client facing role involves conducting root cause analysis, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating across business units to drive improvements in RCM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the Quadax Reimbursement Management methodology through monthly revenue cycle analysis of clients. The methodology is a structured means to identify revenue opportunities from various steps within the revenue cycle.
- Utilize Quadax healthcare billing applications to analyze data and identify payer reimbursement trends, leveraging dashboards and other advanced reporting tools.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on findings in collaboration with Quadax business units and clients.
- Suggest corrective and preventative actions and work collaboratively with stakeholders to implementation solutions.
- Monitor and track reimbursement improvements based on analysis and findings, and compile results to be shared with the management team and clients.
- Evaluate client performance through analysis and comparison to client key performance indicator (KPI) targets and Quadax performance benchmarks.
- Prepare summary findings of analysis and RCAs for monthly briefings to Account Executives and Operations Management.
- Contribute key findings from monthly briefings and recent reimbursement performance into an end-of-month revenue cycle presentation and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for Account Executives to present to the client’s management team.
- Create ad hoc reports using various productivity tools (Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc.) to enhance analysis work.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team on new data requirements and reporting enhancements.
Education/Experience:
- Four-year bachelor's degree in Business Management, Healthcare Management, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field;
- 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in Power BI, SQL, and Visio is a plus;
- Experience managing multiple tasks and objectives to achieve individual and organizational goals;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal departments, including executive teams;
- Proven entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to establish priorities, work independently, and achieve objectives;
- Experience in laboratory or general healthcare RCM is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands: General office demands including sitting and/or standing for long periods of time. Dexterity with general office equipment including but not limited to keyboard, mouse, and calculator.
Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines while adapting to a changing atmosphere. The employee will be expected to make judgement decisions, grasp new ideas, and communicate with various employees and clients at all levels.
Salary Range: $72k-$82k
