The Opportunity:

 P&G Ventures (PGV) Global Product Stewardship (GPS) Organization is seeking a Regulatory Scientist (PhD). In this role, you will evaluate innovative products new to P&G, design regulatory strategies that enable rapid learning cycles, and provide project leadership for cross-functional teams. You will also be responsible for leading and advancing go-to-market regulatory strategies that support P&G Ventures’ business initiatives. Strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and experience working with cross-functional teams are highly valued for this position. Knowledge of TSCA and FIFRA regulations is preferred but not required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn and grow professionally and possess excellent communication skills—both written and verbal. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative regulatory strategies for new product innovations.
  • Lead regulatory efforts to ensure compliance and successful market entry for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build strong relationships and effectively communicate GPS positions.
  • Formulate logical, data-driven regulatory positions independently.
  • Manage real-time inquiries and determine when escalation is necessary.
  • Drive proactive project leadership, issue management, troubleshooting, and solution development.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, industry associations, and scientific experts to advance P&G’s safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainability goals.
     

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Education Requirement: PhD degree in Biology, Microbiology, Toxicology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills to formulate data-based regulatory positions.
  • Proactive and agile in project leadership and issue management.
  • Strong track record in Issue Management, including identifying, assessing, and resolving complex regulatory concerns.
  • Available to work at Mason, OH location 3-5 day per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory affairs within a similar industry.
  • Experience in EPA regulatory processes or a strong willingness to learn complex regulatory landscapes.
  • Experience developing and implementing digital/AI solutions.
