G MASS Consulting is supporting a global banking client on a strategic regulatory reporting transformation programme, replacing its incumbent Kaizen platform with Qomply across global operations.

We are seeking a highly experienced Regulatory Reporting Technology Lead to take ownership of the end-to-end technical delivery of the Qomply implementation. This is a senior, hands-on contract role embedded directly within the bank's Regulatory Operations and Finance Technology function, acting as the primary technical counterpart across internal stakeholders and the Qomply vendor team.

This role is ideally suited to someone with deep regulatory reporting technology expertise, strong platform integration experience, and demonstrable hands-on knowledge of Qomply within a capital markets environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical scoping, architecture and delivery of the Qomply implementation programme
  • Own integration design between Qomply and upstream/downstream internal systems, trade repositories and reporting data sources
  • Act as the primary technical contact for the Qomply vendor team, managing delivery timelines, technical dependencies and escalations
  • Define and oversee migration strategy from Kaizen, including mapping logic, reporting configurations and submission workflows
  • Provide technical governance across SIT, UAT, reconciliation and parallel-run testing phases
  • Partner closely with Regulatory Operations, BA and Data teams to resolve data quality and reporting integrity issues
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation including integration specifications, architecture decisions and operational runbooks
  • Manage technical risks and issues throughout delivery lifecycle, escalating where appropriate
  • Support post-go-live stabilisation and transition into BAU support teams

Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with Qomply, either from implementation, configuration or advanced operational usage
  • Deep regulatory reporting technology experience within investment banking or capital markets environments
  • Strong understanding of at least two regulatory regimes including MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC or SFTR
  • Experience delivering or leading regulatory reporting platform migrations or implementations
  • Strong understanding of transaction reporting data flows and messaging formats including FIX, FPML, and regulatory submission standards
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and technology delivery within complex financial services programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

Desirable Experience

  • Previous exposure to Kaizen Reporting Hub
  • Experience working closely with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Front Office stakeholders
  • Familiarity with cloud-based regulatory platforms and API-driven integrations
  • Previous experience within large investment banking environments
