As a Business Analyst Professional in our Finance team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
You will be r esponsible for gathering and documenting business requirement, in accordance with regulatory requirements as part of Regulatory Reporting Team. Responsible for regulatory and non-regulatory exam requirements as per the schedule with tight deadlines
Job Responsibilities
- Interpreting business needs of customers and translating them into the application and operational requirement (BRD) in compliance with JPMC standards with the help of strong analytical and product management skills
- Liaise between product and IT to understand customer requirements/demands and prioritize the product roadmap
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define product enhancements, new features and existing issues. Serving as a channel between the internal-external customers and the IT team through which requirements flow
- Gathering information from multiple sources and critically evaluating it, reconciling conflicts, disseminating high-level information into details and distinguishing user requests from their true needs
- Participating in user acceptance testing and undertaking the functionality testing of new system
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Degree in Business or a related discipline
- A minimum of 7 plus years of Business Analyst experience with banking domain knowledge . 4 plus years of experience in Agile framework
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Excellent documentation skills
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience in SQL with focus on data retrieval and analysis from multiple databases
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx & Python would be beneficial.
- People management experience preferred.
- Regulatory Reporting experience preferred.
