As Regulatory & Lifecycle Compliance Specialist in GN Hearing, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer, by helping ensure that our hearing aid products remain compliant throughout their lifecycle. You will support regulatory assessments, product changes, documentation, and process improvements that help bring safe and compliant medical devices to market and keep them there. In this role, you will support lifecycle compliance for hearing aids across new products and in‑market devices.

The position is well suited to someone early in their career who is motivated by structured problem-solving, improving how work gets done, collaborating across different functions, while learning across the regulatory and quality aspects of medical devices

At our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join the Regulatory & Lifecycle Compliance team and report to the Regulatory & Lifecycle Compliance Manager.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Support regulatory compliance activities across the lifecycle of hearing aid products.

  • Contribute to regulatory assessments and product change activities to help maintain continued compliance.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across functions to support product development and product lifecycle improvements.

  • Contribute to process improvements and efficient day-to-day ways of working.

  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline repetitive tasks using digital tools and AI where relevant.

  • Support Agile ways of working

  • Prepare and maintain clear regulatory documentation.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field

  • Bring relevant experience from studies, internships, student roles, or an early-career position

  • Have an interest in medical device regulation and quality, with some familiarity with frameworks such as MDR, FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, or IEC 62366, or similar

  • Understand how to work within procedures, controlled documentation, change control, and audit-ready processes

  • Take a structured and risk-based approach to your work

  • Communicate clearly and can adapt technical or regulatory topics to different audiences

  • Work well both independently and in collaboration with others

  • Are curious, analytical, and motivated to learn

  • Are proficient in English, written and spoken

You may be especially effective in this role if you have also worked with or have an interest in:

  • Automation or digital tools, such as Python, Power Automate or Power BI

  • AI tools that support efficiency and process improvement

  • Agile or Scrum ways of working

Skills Required
