Working closely with the Head of Financial Regulatory Consulting, you will help shape the future direction of the practice, drive business growth and play a key role in developing a market-leading advisory capability.

What you'll do

  • Lead the delivery of complex conduct risk, regulatory transformation and remediation engagements for financial services clients

  • Provide trusted advisory support to Boards, senior executives and regulators on conduct risk frameworks, governance, culture, consumer duty and customer outcomes

  • Oversee major regulatory programmes, including Skilled Person Reviews (s166), remediation initiatives, regulatory investigations and governance transformation projects

  • Ensure engagements are delivered to the highest quality standards, maintaining robust governance, evidencing and regulatory readiness throughout

  • Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams across consulting, legal and operational disciplines

  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders and become a recognised trusted advisor

  • Contribute to the development of innovative regulatory solutions and thought leadership in response to emerging market and regulatory trends

  • Support the continued growth of the practice through business development, proposal creation, pricing, pitching and client relationship management

  • Work collaboratively across consulting, legal and Vario teams to deliver integrated solutions and maximise the breadth of the firm's capabilities

What we're looking for

We're interested in hearing from individuals with significant experience gained within a financial services consultancy, regulated financial services organisation, regulatory body or professional services environment.

You'll bring:

  • Deep expertise in conduct risk, regulatory advisory, compliance, remediation or regulatory transformation

  • A strong understanding of FCA and PRA supervisory expectations, regulatory priorities and enforcement themes

  • Demonstrable experience leading Skilled Person Reviews (s166) and complex regulatory remediation programmes

  • Significant experience advising Boards, SMFs and senior leadership teams on regulatory matters

  • Expertise in governance, culture and behaviours, product governance and customer outcome frameworks

  • Experience managing regulatory engagement, evidence gathering and regulatory-quality documentation

  • A proven track record of winning work, developing client relationships and contributing to the growth of an advisory practice

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients

Why join us?

This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a growing regulatory consulting practice with the support, reach and reputation of an international professional services business.

You'll work on some of the most complex and high-profile regulatory issues in the market while collaborating with leading specialists across consulting, legal and managed services.
