Wells Fargo is seeking a Regulatory Remuneration Professional to join our International Total Rewards team. In this key role, you will help shape and execute our regulatory compensation strategy across the International region, serving as a trusted subject-matter expert on complex remuneration requirements.
As a senior specialist in this space, you will lead the design and delivery of regulatory compensation frameworks, identify Material Risk Takers, and provide expert guidance to senior leaders on technical regulatory matters to ensure full compliance with international standards. You will also develop and present high-quality materials for governance bodies including the Board, Remuneration Committee, and Management Committee while collaborating closely with partners across HR, Total Rewards, and the Company Secretarial team.
You will act as a central technical point of contact for International HR leadership, helping influence the regulatory agenda and contributing to cross-functional initiatives alongside the Head of Compensation, International.

In this role, you will also:
- Provide consulting, advisory support, briefings and solutions to senior management, managers, regulated employees, and HR Business Partners.
- Keep abreast of international regulations, which includes research, detailed analysis and evaluation. Identify and deliver enhancements to existing frameworks.
- Exercise independent judgment to present recommended solutions, as well as working to execute and operationalise.
- Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations, while leveraging and developing expertise within the compensation functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Own the completion of remuneration disclosures, annual review of the remuneration policy and other policies, administration and documentation relating to remuneration regulatory compliance.
- Lead on governance and oversight of remuneration matters within International.
- Supporting the team with the requirements of the control environment ensuring adherence to procedures, controls and corrective actions and recording of approvals, controls and monitoring as needed.
- Collaborate and consult with compensation colleagues, internal partners, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Be faced with conflicting priorities so you will need to be highly organised and be able to function in such an environment with great attention to detail.
Required Qualifications:
- In-depth experience of all aspects of job analysis and pricing, including survey analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory matters covering compensation and Identified Staff identification.
- Some experience of international compensation and incentive plan design and operation.
- Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish effective partnerships with HR and compensation colleagues.
- Good track record of client and project management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
