The Manager of Regulated Services Product Management leads a team of product managers responsible for defining, negotiating, and maintaining prioritized product roadmaps for regulated systems and services. This role oversees the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and requirements definition through build, launch, and continuous enhancement—ensuring solutions align with enterprise business objectives, compliance mandates, and operational scalability. You will recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing product team while partnering closely with technology, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and remove delivery obstacles.
What you’ll do
- Lead, mentor, and recruit a high-performing team of product managers responsible for driving the Regulated Services product strategy and maintaining prioritized product roadmaps.
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle for internal and external regulated services, ensuring aligned delivery channels, clear business requirements, and operational readiness.
- Drive cross-alliance collaboration and manage strategic dependencies across technology, legal, compliance, and business enterprise teams.
- Manage full people leadership responsibilities, including performance appraisals, compensation reviews, training, coaching, and career development.
- Identify and resolve operational, technical, or organizational roadblocks that impact the team’s ability to meet strategic milestones and delivery goals.
- Establish and execute communication plans to align key stakeholders on product priorities, business impacts, and roadmap updates.
What experience you need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- 3+ years of direct people management or team lead experience managing professionals, including hiring and performance management.
- 3+ years of experience defining product requirements and roadmaps within a regulated industry or compliance-focused domain (e.g., FCRA, GLBA, GDPR, or financial services).
- Demonstrated experience partnering with engineering, UX/design, and operational teams to deliver technical capabilities.
- Proven track record of evaluating customer/department needs and managing build-vs-buy decisions with defined business trade-offs.
