Regional Training and Education Manager

Digital dentistry has already changed how labs work. The bigger shift is still ahead. AI-assisted design is compressing work that used to take hours into minutes. Digital dentures are moving from a niche workflow to a mainstream one. And the gap keeps widening between labs that have gone digital and labs that are getting the most out of it.

Technology alone doesn't close that gap. Education does.

3Shape is investing in our lab business, and we are looking for people who want an active role in shaping how labs work in the future. Education is integral to our vision for lab: it is what drives adoption, and it is what brings real customer insight back into our roadmaps.

The role is two-fold.

First, you build. In your first 6–12 months, you will dedicate most of your time to developing a new education universe and content library for our lab customers and partners, in a taskforce alongside our Global Academy and Global Learning & Content teams.

Then, you take it to market. You own the implementation and execution of that program across Region Europe, which is why this role is more than local.

Day to day, the role is hands-on and customer-facing. You will deliver advanced training for lab customers, resellers and key accounts, upskill local trainers, and work closely with Product, Sales, Support and our Global Academy.

You will report to the local country organization in your market, with a dotted line to our Global Academy.

We are recruiting three Regional Training and Education Managers, based in Germany, France and the UK, to support growth across DACH, the Nordics, Benelux, France, Iberia, Italy, and UK & Ireland.

Your day-to-day focus is your own sub-region, and you should expect regular travel within your sub-region and occasional travel elsewhere in Region Europe. You will also train and lecture at important congresses and key-account events across Europe.

3Shape's Lab business develops digital solutions that help dental laboratories work more efficiently across their workflows.

Our portfolio includes Dental System™, lab scanners, Lab Management Systems integrations, TRIOS® workflows, and services such as Design Service and AI-design.

Key Responsibilities

• Training delivery and ownership: Own training sessions end to end: preparation, execution and follow-up. Deliver advanced training for lab customers, resellers and key accounts in your sub-region, and adapt content and delivery to different experience levels, from onboarding to expert users.

• Congresses and events: Lecture at important congresses and key-account events across Region Europe, representing 3Shape's lab education program.

• Train-the-trainer programs: Run regional train-the-trainer programs to onboard and upskill internal local lab trainers, other regional frontline staff, and our reseller partners. Everyone who needs to be strong in our lab solutions.

• KOL and community engagement: Engage with local and regional KOLs and speakers to bring external expertise into customer education.

• Customer and stakeholder advisory: Act as a sparring partner and adviser to customers and internal stakeholders on the adoption and usage of 3Shape solutions to optimize dental workflows in clinic and lab.

• Regional content coordination: Consolidate regional lab training material needs based on customer input and join the global-regional lab education community to help prioritize global lab content production.

• Building the education universe: Support the development of our global training and education materials and content library for our workflow ecosystems, with a specific focus on lab, working in a taskforce with Global Academy and Global Learning & Content.

What We're Looking For

• Brings a background as a dental technician, with 7+ years of hands-on experience in digital dental workflows, including CAD/CAM and 3Shape Dental System in a lab environment.

• Shows genuine passion for education and training, with the ability to make complex concepts simple and exciting. We would love to see concrete examples of this in your application.

• Enjoys collaborating in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment where customer needs and understanding drive everything we do.

• Maintains commitment to customers and colleagues, and provides a positive, supportive experience with a high level of engagement and service.

• Demonstrates confidence and professionalism with customers and stakeholders and contributes to a safe learning environment.

• Is willing to travel regularly within your own market, and occasionally elsewhere in Region Europe.

• Speaks fluent English and German.
