Job Description:

This position will play a pivotal role in helping to accelerate our enterprise capability on trade promotions as part of the regional sales strategy to drive data-driven decision-making and improve the effectiveness of trade promotion strategies. Specifically, this role will support defining our regional trade promotional strategy in partnership with the regional cell teams, helping us to be brilliant at the basics and get to leading edge on driving snacking insights within our overall promotional investment strategy. A critical part of this role will then be to work hand in hand with the clusters to implement these and improve the impact of our promotional investments to drive the balance of profitability and growth.

An individual who wants to broaden their perspective through working in a regional role to develop their breadth in SRM/ RGM and partner to drive a step change in capabilities. has strength in financial acumen and understanding of how to invest with customers. With specific call outs:

  • Experience in Analytics and modelling to define fact based recommendations and convert insights to action plans. Required
  • Understanding the market mechanisms responsible for promotional mechanisms, impact on profitability, revenue and sales volume. Required
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to work cross-functionally and provide strategic recommendations based on insights. Required
  • Nice to have - RGM prior experience with promo strategies/investment choices
  • Nice to have - Perspective of multiple markets customer investment strategies
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • In partnership with regional promotional Director collaborate with regional marketing, sales and finance teams to refine promotional strategies and ensure alignment with cell objectives.
  • Develop regional promotional guidelines by channel/ investment area in partnership with Regional  sales teams and Cluster teams
  • Partner with cluster RGM and sales teams to translate regional guidelines into cluster guidelines and define promo productivity roadmaps and action plans
  • Analyse trade promotion performance to identify opportunities for optimization. Develop and implement frameworks to assess the ROI of promotional activities.
  • Integrate promo investment strategy/guidelines into Target pricing in partnership with Regional channel pricing director
  • Set up and own regional promotional insights database
