Mission statement:
Promote Wired Communication PGGA portfolio in Australia, New Zealand and other countries of APAC region in accordance with strategy. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues.
Your responsibilities:
-
You will promote products/systems/services in Wired & Communication to customers / Channel Partners, internal channels, focusing on Added Values, Differentiators, New Technologies. You will create added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy and influences on next investments / Request for Quotation and communicate details in accordance with Local Hitachi Energy capabilities and Factory availabilities.

You will prepare promotion plans using company tools, identify opportunities and challenge Sales community to visit customers and lead direct technical relation / communication with customers.

You will lead Product Homologations / Proof of Concepts, assist Bid and Proposal team during bidding stage for technical review / alternative challenge and lead relation with Factories / Global Product Group. Bring feedback, capitalize, and update MKT analysis.

You will ensure most competitive Technical / Commercial offer considering the market situation and customer’s conditions.

You will support bid/no bid analyses and decisions and participate in project risk review processes.

You will direct relations with customers, channel partners, distributors, potential Third-Party suppliers.

You will lead, drive and hold itself accountable for the highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved, responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensure proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions monitored/followed up.

You will build an injury, incident, near miss and hazard reporting culture within the team, guaranteeing reported incidents will be investigated and action taken and create a workplace where everyone views health, safety, and environment as the most important non-negotiable value of your business.

You background:

You hold Engineering/Trade qualifications – Fiber Optic Telecommunication in PDH, SDH, xWDM & MPLS-TP packet technology.

You hold 5 to 10 years of experience in relevant field.

Technical Pre-sales skills.
-
Switching and routing knowledge and understanding with industry certifications.

Ability to lead technical workshops, PoC & product qualifications.
-
Experience across Electrical Industry within Utilities, renewables, Power Systems projects, or Rail/O&G in Communication is an advantage.

Expresses opinions, able to work with multiple stakeholders and positions.

Good written and verbal English communication skills, high attention to detail.
