ProcessBarron is seeking an Industrial Technical Sales Manager to support and grow our presence throughout the Northeast region. This role combines technical expertise, relationship management, and strategic sales to help customers improve reliability, efficiency, and performance in demanding industrial environments.

You'll work with customers across the Waste-to-Energy, Cement, Biomass, and Pulp & Paper industries, helping them identify challenges and implement practical solutions using ProcessBarron's industry-leading products and services.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our Sales Team, you'll manage the complete customer relationship and sales process throughout your assigned territory.

Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Conduct regular customer visits throughout the Northeast region
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer operations through ProcessBarron solutions
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for industrial customers
Business Development
  • Generate new business opportunities within existing and targeted accounts
  • Prospect new customers and expand market presence
  • Develop territory growth strategies and sales plans
  • Monitor industry trends and customer needs
Solution Selling
  • Evaluate customer challenges and recommend practical technical solutions
  • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to develop proposals
  • Assist customers with equipment, services, outage support, and replacement parts
  • Prepare and present proposals and commercial recommendations
Project Support
  • Support projects from proposal through successful completion
  • Work closely with Operations, Field Services, Safety, and Project Management teams
  • Monitor active projects and customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for change orders and additional services
  • Ensure a smooth customer experience throughout project execution

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to access all customer site locations safely, work at heights, in confined spaces, climb ladders and stairs, and tolerate industrial conditions
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Manager, Reliability Engineer, Planner, Project Manager, Plant Engineer, or Marine Engineer
  • Experience working with industrial customers in Waste-to-Energy, Cement, Biomass, and/or Pulp & Paper industries
  • Familiarity with ProcessBarron products and services
