Regional Tax Manager - Asia

Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Oversee IFF’s tax compliance across Greater Asia, including data collection, reviewing tax returns, and coordinating with tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings.
• Manage the tax provision process for assigned countries, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate standards.
• Serve as the primary tax contact for external advisors and local tax authorities, handling audits and other tax-related inquiries.
• Provide strategic tax advice to business units and proactively communicate changes in tax legislation and their implications.
• Identify opportunities for tax efficiencies and lead implementation of approved tax planning initiatives.
• Support the global transfer pricing team in monitoring policy adherence, executing transfer pricing processes, and ensuring local compliance.
• Represent the Asia region in global tax planning and M&A initiatives, contributing regional insights and expertise.
• Recommend enhancements to tax-related systems and internal controls to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks, ensuring adherence to IFF’s tax governance and risk management frameworks.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly valued.
• 8+ years experience within a multinational business and legal or accounting firm experience.
• Strong understanding of Southeast Asian tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.
• Proficient in accounting and tax software tools, with a strong grasp of digital workflows.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
