The Role

The Opportunity: As our Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will recruit highly effective educators across an assigned region while developing critical relationships necessary to attract & maintain a robust candidate pool. You will also manage the full recruitment lifecycle while working to ensure candidates and business partners receive an exceptional experience from application through onboarding.

LOCATION: This hybrid role provides a blend of remote work and creative, strategic sourcing support, which requires time in the field at school sites and community events. We are only considering candidates living in or within a 45-mile proximity to Charleston, WV. 
Key Details
Key Deliverables:

  • Identify, source, and screen high quality, mission-aligned educators and school staff.
  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans tailored to regional and school-specific hiring needs.
  • Cultivate strong talent pipelines through networking, referral generation, educator preparation program partnerships, and community outreach.
  • Provide exceptional customer service rooted in relationship building with candidates, school leaders, partners, and stakeholders
  • Facilitate full-cycle recruitment processes, including screening, interview coordination, offer extension, and onboarding support.
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate data, documentation, and reporting within the applicant tracking system.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring policies, credentialing requirements, and internal processes.
  • Build strategic relationships with colleges, universities, and alternative certification programs while leading outreach efforts through information sessions, career fairs, and educator networks to strengthen recruitment pipelines.
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Achieve and exceed 100% staffing targets across assigned schools/regions by established deadlines.
  • Maintain low decline and rescind rates through strong candidate engagement, expectation-setting, and relationship management.
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience, measured by timely communication, clear process guidance, and post-interview follow-up.
  • Ensure a positive hiring manager experience through effective partnership, proactive communication, and strategic talent advisement.
  • Build and maintain a robust, diverse pipeline of qualified educators aligned to school needs and student outcomes.
  • Reduce time to fill for critical and hard-to-staff roles through targeted sourcing strategies.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to inform strategy adjustments and continuous improvement.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in recruitment, sales, or marketing
  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ recruiting experience with a strong focus on sourcing
  • A demonstrated ability to meet rigorous goals while maintaining the highest level of quality
  • The ability to work an occasional extended schedule (nights and weekends)
