NOV is seeking an experienced Regional Talent Acquisition Manager to lead recruitment across Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
In this newly created role, you will partner with senior business and HR leaders to develop effective, data-driven hiring strategies that support workforce plans and business growth. You will lead a geographically dispersed Talent Acquisition team and oversee recruitment for technical, commercial, operational, corporate, leadership and high-volume positions across diverse markets.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver the regional Talent Acquisition strategy in line with business plans and workforce requirements.
- Advise leaders on talent availability, labour-market trends, sourcing options, recruitment risks and location strategies.
- Build strong talent pipelines for critical, specialist, leadership and hard-to-fill roles.
- Oversee the full recruitment process, from role intake and sourcing through assessment, offer management and onboarding handover.
- Monitor recruitment performance against agreed KPIs and service levels, including time to fill, offer acceptance, cost, quality and candidate experience.
- Lead, coach and develop a regional team of Talent Acquisition professionals.
- Partner with business leaders, HR Business Partners and functional teams across Engineering, Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Field Service and Corporate functions.
- Support recruitment campaigns, referral programmes, campus initiatives, talent mapping and high-volume hiring, including the GBS scale-up in Kochi.
- Strengthen NOV’s employer brand and ensure candidates receive a consistent, professional and inclusive experience.
- Maintain strong recruitment governance, vendor management, documentation and system compliance.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with applicable employment legislation, data privacy requirements, immigration regulations and NOV policies.
- Extensive end-to-end Talent Acquisition experience, including leadership responsibility within a complex, matrixed and geographically dispersed organisation.
- Proven experience leading recruitment across multiple countries in Africa, the Middle East and/or Asia Pacific. Experience covering all three regions is strongly preferred.
- Experience recruiting for engineering, technical, sales, operations, manufacturing, corporate and leadership positions.
- Experience in the energy, industrial, manufacturing or oilfield services sectors is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition strategy, workforce planning, sourcing, talent pipelining, recruitment campaigns and supplier management.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage competing business priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using recruitment data to improve performance, quality, cost and candidate experience.
- Excellent communication, consulting and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English is required. Additional regional languages are an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
