Your opportunity

The Regional Support Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s mission to strengthen communities and improve outcomes for people experiencing vulnerability. Reporting to the State Leader – NSW Region West, and working in close partnership with regional leaders, this position enables consistent, high-quality service delivery by leading support teams, strengthening administrative and operational practices, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. With a strong focus on client-centred outcomes, the role ensures that systems, processes and people are aligned to deliver meaningful and lasting impact.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and support the regional administration team to deliver consistent, high-quality services aligned with organisational priorities
  • Partner with regional leaders to provide high-level operational, administrative and project support across services
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement in administrative processes, systems and ways of working across the region
  • Coordinate and strengthen collaboration between teams to enable effective program delivery and positive client outcomes
  • Oversee reporting, data collection and analysis to support informed decision-making and performance monitoring
  • Support financial and workforce processes, including budgeting, reporting, recruitment and workforce coordination
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, contractual requirements and quality frameworks, including risk management and safety
  • Build capability within support teams through coaching, guidance and performance development
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including funders, partners and corporate teams

Requirements for success

  • Demonstrated experience in high-level administrative and operational support within complex environments
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams to achieve strong performance and service outcomes
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Sound judgement, initiative and discretion, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience in reporting, data analysis and using insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and confidence using systems to support administration, reporting and coordination
  • Hold current valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Drivers’ Licence

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
