For our office in Geneva, we are looking for a Regional Supply Chain Planning Director EMEA

As Regional Supply Chain Director, you will lead a team of planning professionals and managers responsible for demand, supply, and inventory planning across EMEA manufacturing sites and distribution centers. You will ensure alignment with business and financial objectives while optimizing service levels, inventory, logistics costs, and capacity utilization through effective cross-functional collaboration and execution.

What you will do with us:

  • Leads all aspects of demand and supply planning, replenishment planning, and inventory management to ensure optimal product availability, operational efficiency, and customer service performance.
  • Leads and develops the regional demand and supply planning team, driving cross-functional planning processes and decision-making forums while providing critical insights and leadership for the EMEA S&OP cycle.
  • Lead and continuously improve the Regional S&OP process, ensuring effective integration of demand, supply, inventory, financial, and commercial plans across the region. Identify risks and opportunities, facilitate decision-making, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drives continuous improvement of planning performance by leading root-cause analysis of variances. Ensures timely implementation of corrective actions and escalating critical issues and effectively communicating decisions, actions, and outcomes across the organization.
  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on business objectives, foster effective communication, and proactively resolve issues that may impact organizational performance or goal achievement.
  • Develops, coaches, and mentors team members to maximize their potential, building a high-performing organization with the capabilities and succession strength required to support FMC's long-term growth and strategic objectives.

Your qualification & attributes:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific discipline, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, and/or Materials Management, including demonstrated success in leading and developing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multiple functions and organizational levels. Proven ability to present, advocate for, and gain alignment on ideas, strategies, and recommendations through strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, including interactions with senior leaders and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to analyse complex issues, develop objective recommendations, make timely and effective decisions, and hold individuals and teams accountable for delivering outcomes.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Proven ability to lead organizational change, drive adoption of new processes and initiatives, and foster a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific discipline, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field

  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior and executive-level leaders
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, root-cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
  • Demonstrated leadership driving organizational change, continuous improvement, coaching, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
