As a Regional Strategy & Transaction Manager – Vice President in our Asia Pacific team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing real estate strategies that support our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage end-to-end transaction processes, and ensure our portfolio remains competitive and efficient. Whilst providing key support to the region lead, you will be responsible for managing assigned transactions across Asia Pacific, mainly focused on JPMorgan’s India & Philippines office and regional data center portfolio. Together, we will create value for our business and communities by optimizing our real estate footprint and driving key initiatives.
Job responsibilities
- Prepare real estate strategic plans in partnership with the Regional Strategy & Transaction head
- Coordinate with internal functional groups including finance, design and construction, real estate consultants, and business teams to ensure comprehensive strategic planning
- Manage the RFP process and select real estate consultants, brokers, and agents to support strategic and transactional requirements
- Lead building selection and RFP processes for securing locations, conducting due diligence, and negotiating with developers and landlords
- Provide program management and analytics, collaborating with the business underwriting team on financial modeling and evaluation of transaction options
- Negotiate lease and purchase contracts and manage documentation with real estate consultants and legal counsel
- Oversee lease reporting to meet regional and global requirements, flagging upcoming lease expiries and ensuring timely renewals
- Support the implementation of key real estate initiatives as a Program Manager
- Champion real estate occupancy metrics such as cost per square foot and vacancy rates
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis, including portfolio pricing and market positioning
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or equivalent
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a real estate transaction manager in a major multinational company or principal real estate consultancy
- Strong real estate market knowledge in multiple countries across Asia Pacific
- Excellent planning skills
- Solid understanding of financials
- Effective leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
