Regional Sales Territory Manager - Pacific NW & Western Canada
In this role, you will be:
- Responsible for growing the business and managing sales activities within an assigned geography
- Primary point of contact for ingesting all marketing and sales leads to qualify, route, and manage appropriately
- Close opportunities for unnamed or unmanaged accounts and route appropriately for support
- Resolve day to day issues and engage support teams appropriately
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management: Accept and qualify leads, schedule customer meetings, and convert leads to new customers
- Opportunity Management: Manage the sales process to close business or route the opportunity to the appropriate owner
- Reseller/Partner Relationship Management: Build territory relationships, triage inbound partner requests to support customer needs. (Pricing, Opportunity Management, Accessories, etc.)
- Account Management & Support (Non-Managed): Establish customer communication and management strategy for non-managed customers (Campaign co-development, Quarterly check-in, use case, expansion, etc.)
- Marketing Events: Attend marketing and thought leadership events for networking and geography growth
- Administrative or Other Non-Selling Activities: Manage customer and business data in our CRM, Complete Training and Professional Development
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education at a Bachelor level or relevant practical experience
- Minimum of 3 years Business to Business selling experience in a two-tier distribution model or 3-4 years sales experience with inside sales environment
- Experience in writing, successfully implementing, and tracking sales plans
- Successful group presentation experience is essential
- Knowledge of working within a CRM
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using customer contact software, Office 365, and social media
- Self-starter with effective time management skills
- Energetic, determined to succeed
- Creative and logical demeanor with problem solving skills
- Capability to determine the effectiveness of an approach and ability to make the appropriate adjustment to achieve maximum results
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Located in near Pacific North West area and Canada
- Ability to speak French
Travel:
- 60%-70% (Dealers, tradeshows, etc.)
Pay Transparency Notice:
- Depending on your work location, the compensation for this position with commission can range from $120,000.00 to $190,000.00 total earnings for sales performance. Compensation for roles at GN depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
