About the role .
As a Regional Sales Representative for Food Service is responsible for managing and coordinating sales activities within the subordinated region in alignment with the agreed strategy, objectives, plans, and budgets.
You will frequently contact end users and distributors seeking out profitable volume opportunities and through the execution of the annual joint business plans. You will report to Sales Manager Greece and Cyprus.
What you'll be doing.
  • Sales Development: Drive sales growth by managing and converting leads. Analyze sales trends, identify emerging customers' needs, and ensure prompt fulfillment in collaboration with distributors.
  • Account Management: Prepare and present professional sales proposals to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Product Promotion: Actively promote McCain's product portfolio by organizing and conducting product demonstrations, attending local food shows, and participating in distributor events to strengthen brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Market Analysis: Collect and report insights on competitor activities, market trends, and product performance. Provide actionable intelligence to inform strategic decisions and support business planning.
  • Distributor Collaboration: Build trusted relationships with distributor sales teams and management. Provide product knowledge support, and develop tailored initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and drive results.
  • New Product Development: Play an active role in new product launches by supplying market feedback and collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations teams.

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably within the food service industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the food service industry, including knowledge of distribution channels, customer segments, and market dynamics.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Tech: Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Languages: Good communication level in English; fluent proficiency in Greek (spoken and written).
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
  • Valid driving license with at least 3 years of driving experience.

About the team.
This position is part of the Food Service Sales Greece team within the Continental Europe Division. The Regional Sales Representative reports directly to the Sales Manager Greece and Cyprus and works closely with the local sales team, distributors, and cross-functional partners across marketing, product development, and operations.
