In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Lead and develop the Instruments Sales team across SEE, including Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Adriatic.
  • Lead and develop a diverse sales team by attracting, onboarding, and growing the right mix of field and digital sales capabilities.
  • Create a high‑performance, learning‑focused environment through coaching, skills development, and succession planning.
  • Set clear performance expectations aligned with regional operating plans and use data‑driven insights to track progress against bookings and growth objectives.
  • Guide teams in executing value‑creation actions such as new account acquisition, expansion within existing customers, solution demand creation, and project pursuit.
  • Ensure effective account allocation and coverage by applying segmentation models that balance customer needs, opportunity size, and sales capacity.
  • Provide hands‑on coaching to strengthen discovery, solution positioning, and negotiation capabilities, reinforcing consistent use of sales playbooks and digital tools.
  • Deploy and monitor regional sales campaigns in partnership with industry and product leaders, adjusting tactics based on performance and market feedback.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to share market insights, customer trends, and competitive intelligence that inform continuous improvement and strategic direction.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with sales management experience preferred.
  • The ability to lead and coach sales professionals across field and digital environments.
  • Experience using performance metrics, dashboards, and customer data to guide decision‑making and improve outcomes.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels.
  • Comfort navigating change and applying structured sales processes in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment.
  • A results‑oriented mindset combined with a commitment to developing people and building inclusive, high‑performing teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required within the region.
