The Regional Sales Manager – Central / South US will serve as the primary division representative responsible for the sale of assigned products and services within the Central-South US region for all Helicopter products. Responsible for meeting planned sales volumes, market penetration and profitability objectives.  Develop and maintain customer accounts, implement sales strategies, presents new concepts, and ensures optimal sales service.   Coordinates across the Sector and Corporation for customer relations, internal teaming and supporting corporate objectives.

What You'll Do: 

  • In conjunction with the Sales Director and Business Development, determines sales territory strategy and qualifies potential prospects.
  • Conducts sales calls, prepares and performs product delivery presentations, provides product support, and performs other sales and marketing functions as required.  
  • Coordinates sales effort with the division/sector team and relevant BU personnel.  
  • Establishes, maintains and develops business relationships with customers and potential customers to optimize customer base profit.
  • Provides feedback to Operations and the division/sector team to assist with qualification of customer requirements and the organization’s ability to service those requirements 
  • Own Sales Intermediary selection, negotiation, and agreements.  
  • Completes induction information for each customer transaction in conjunction with Customer Service Representatives and Customer Program Representatives as assigned.
  • Maintains the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) [Salesforce.com] (SFDC) database. 
  • Attends industry trade shows, sales meetings, marketing workshops, training sessions and other special events as required.  Hosts and coordinates customer visits.
  • Manages transactional costs and margins by applying a thorough knowledge of market segment cost drivers. 
  • Carries out special projects to include continuous improvement/new bid opportunities as assigned. 
  • Adherence to our corporate and government business compliance, and Company Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in engine or airframe MRO sales
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), with demonstrated knowledge of customer segments, market dynamics, and the ability to align engine MRO solutions to meet specific customer requirements and drive measurable customer satisfaction outcomes.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience working with production processes, with proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to identify and leverage key operational drivers that optimize sales performance, improve service delivery, and enhance profit margins.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration; or: Engineering technology or other related fields; experience in lieu of 10 years of experience in sales or MRO engineering or management experience in a relevant role in commercial and/or government industry
  • Valid passport required

Desired Skills 

  • Preferred MRO sales experience in the Central/US region
  • Preferred hands-on experience supporting helicopter and/or turbine engine variants, with the ability to contribute to maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, and service recommendations that improve turnaround time and operational efficiency.
  • Preferred Technical certified training in aviation products; such as A&P technician
  • Preferred Helicopter sales experience
