Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sells company products to defined distribution area to reach sales goals consistent with company performance.
• Executes recommended advertising program based on best practices and according to our planned calendar.
• Executes our Store Merchandising and display standards according to the store communication program, floor-plan and any new strategies.
• Executes Merchandising Programs based on best practices, including new product introductions and top selling products.
• Provides consultation to retailers on administrative tasks, including reporting sales figures and performance excellence in a timely manner.
• Coaches and develops retailers on operational efficiencies like, warehousing and product prep, service, and delivery for improved profitability and high customer satisfaction.
• Trains all sales associates, office and operation personnel on our products, programs and processes to create greater synergies between retailers and create best practices.
• Communicates and coordinates with support teams (ie., order entry team, leadership) to service and support customers, ensuring timely delivery, reaction to inquiries and follow-up to create long-term relationships.
• Bring added value to each sales call by delivering on the Company's Performance Excellence disciplines - delivering sales, merchandising, marketing, administration, and operations at an elite level.
• Work in conjunction with retailer to develop detailed action and implementation plans to achieve above objectives.
• Follow through on all action plans; monitor and celebrate success.
SCOPE & IMPACT:
This position will provide a consultative and empowered approach to developing and training our independent proprietary accounts to achieve better results and more consistent execution of our programs driving Residential sales volume. This position will be responsible for 4-8 LFG operations consisting of 15-30+ locations averaging approximately $4M/store.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Three (3) to Five (5) years of Supervisory/Leadership Experience.
• Furniture Retail experience.
• Retail or wholesale industry experience in sales or sales management.
• Well-rounded business acumen.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Up to 75% Travel Required.
