The Midwest Regional Sales Manager for CDW and System Integrators plays a pivotal role in maintaining and growing key customer relationships. This critical position drives revenue growth across Micron’s Commercial and Consumer product portfolio to defined strategic NSP and System Integrator customers, enables cross functional collaboration, communicates the voice of the customer, retains ownership of the opportunity pipeline, while encouraging and maintaining strategic relationships with the customer at all levels.
Role and Responsibilities:
Account Plan and Management:
- Work with Sales Management and Marketing, to define a working Account Plan and achieve account goals. Includes coordination across Product Management, Marketing, pricing and US Distribution account teams.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish broad and deep relationships at targeted customers. Develop and maintain comprehensive relationship map, to drive cross- teamwork and strategy, while tracking of all key landmarks and achievements.
Attain quarterly sales objectives:
- Deliver to Corporate objectives – Improve TAM/Share, Revenue growth, MDF/ROI, Forecast, Pipeline
- Develop New Business Opportunities:
- Identify strategic Sales opportunities through Marketing Demand generation, relationships and Sales activities
Brand Evangelist:
- Adhere to Micron standards across all parts of customer sales, marketing, purchasing, finance, legal
- Travel
- 30-40% as vital to develop and maintain customer relationships in regional offices outside of the Chicago area
Qualification and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prefer 7+ years of Channel Partner Sales with some experience managing CDW
- Have prior experience that required excellent communication/organizational skills
- Have prior experience that demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
- Have a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives
- Have a proven ability to drive for results and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Proficient in SalesForce.com
