Regional Sales Manager Wholesale Knoll APAC

You will be an integral part of the MK wholesale APAC team to grow the wholesale retail business of KnollStudio in the APAC region. The candidate is a highly collaborative, open-minded, and hands-on individual responsible for developing the wholesale retail business across the assigned region. By building strong relationships with partners in the region and partnering with both local and international retail teams, the candidate will strive to achieve the assigned quantitative and qualitative targets. His/her main job is to maximize the performance, while ensuring the brand values and alignment among the partners in the region. The candidate is expected to act strategically for business sustainability, to ensure full compliance, and to develop a culture that aligns with MillerKnoll Values.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Drive, manage and execute business development and account management of the KnollStudio wholesale network in the APAC region.

Work to achieve the assigned sales target of each wholesale partner by monitoring their monthly revenue, P&L, the number of POS, profitability at sell-in and sell out across all their sales channels, while ensuring the brand guidelines.

Constantly communicate with all the wholesale partners and provide brand and product training to maximize their performance and to ensure alignment across the market.

Review and analyze market trends and scalability to help determine proper wholesale retail business strategies in each region.

Develop and execute in collaboration with wholesale partners annual and seasonal business strategies and action plans, including but not limited to, product assortment, visual merchandising, sales promotions, A&D projects, stock planning, sales and marketing tools, all future and ongoing programs, campaigns or events.

Monitor receivables and payments for healthy and sustainable business growth.

Monitor and participate in compliance issues, i.e., violation of the regulations on trading areas, business regulations both online and offline.

Navigate challenges effectively, address inappropriate activity, and facilitate necessary measures when applicable.

Participate in business sales meetings with APMEA and global cross-function teams to keep aligned with the global retail strategies, seasonal promotions and overall directions.

Collaborate with local contract sales channel counterparts to ensure synergy and MK corporate values in the region.

Provide weekly reports to your WTL and other reports as requested from management on the business status, challenges, concerns and requested topics to support wholesale partner needs.

  • General management, business development, sales and marketing experience
