The role
Our Vocera team are transforming how hospitals and care teams communicate to improve patient outcomes. In this role, you’ll help bring the Vocera clinical communication platform to more customers—supporting care teams with technology that connects people, information, and workflows when it matters most.

As our Regional Sales Manager for Australia and New Zealand, you will lead a team six sales representatives, to accelerate commercial performance, elevate customer outcomes, and develop a talented sales organisation that is energised, capable, and future‑ready.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver annual and quarterly revenue, market share, and sales attainment targets across all territories.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing regional sales team, driving capability uplift and clear performance expectations.
  • Execute sales strategies aligned with portfolio priorities and regional business objectives to accelerate new customer acquisition and grow existing accounts.
  • Manage accurate forecasting, pipeline transparency, and quota setting to strengthen commercial performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Pre‑Sales, Clinical Account Management, and Professional Services teams to ensure customer success before, during, and after deployment.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior external stakeholders, including executives, ICT leaders, clinical leaders, and government.
  • Oversee disciplined territory and sales planning, including process improvements, product launch readiness, and recall impact management.
  • Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, quality standards, and legislative requirements while actively managing commercial risk.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership or sales management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing field‑based sales teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, health, or a related discipline.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • Ability to travel within Australia and New Zealand as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in medical technology, healthcare IT, or related technology sectors.
  • Experience leading complex sales cycles or enterprise‑level customer engagements.
  • Experience working in cross‑functional or matrix environments.
  • Knowledge of the Digital Health landscape in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Additional qualifications in business, leadership, or health highly regarded.
  • Relocation support may be considered for the right candidate, subject to business requirements.
