About the role
We are looking for a passionate and accomplished Regional Sales Manager to support our sales operation in the Southeastern territory of the US (TN, NC, SC, MS, AL, GA, FL). This position will focus 50% of his/her time on channel management of current Kramer and the other half on end user business development, including a direct touch approach in establishing life-long Kramer customers. The ideal candidate will have significant/ recent experience in a dealer/ system integrator, possess the spirit of a hunter, create urgency, and drive Kramer market share creation that increases revenue quarter over quarter. This is a remote position, with 50% travel expected, annually.
What will your job look like?
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales initiatives for Pro AV and IT channels
- Build and strengthen relationships with key players/ decision makers
- Represent Kramer at trade shows, end user events, and customer meetings to promote products
- Actively pursue new business opportunities at the channel and end user level
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and project pipeline in Salesforce
- Effectively manage current reseller and end user relationships
- Work in a team sales environment at the regional level
- Assist in resolving customer issues regarding sales and service
Requirements:
- Significant dealer/ system integrator experience, highly preferred.
- Strong academic background, highly preferred.
- Driven and motivated hunter, desires success and creates urgency with the ability to make sound decisions within established guidelines.
- Key AV or IT Industry Knowledge and Experience, with proven sales success in both the Pro AV and IT arenas, preferred.
- Ability to travel regionally at least 50% of the year.
- Strong project management and planning skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at one time.
- Proven ability to understand and practices value added selling.
- Ability to operate/work in a fast-paced, high growth & entrepreneurial-like environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
