What you will do: We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Manager to lead a team of Inside Sales Specialists and Consultants. You’ll drive profitable growth by increasing service revenue and generating new leads while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support Johnson Controls’ strategic goals. Your leadership will shape our success and drive transformative change.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead sales activities and achieve KPIs by coaching team members on prioritization and customer engagement.

  • Develop consistent cadence of 1:1 coaching and side-by-sides, achieving 100% team coverage per month

  • Ensure on-time proposal generation & renewal of PSA contracts – New & Renewal annual maintenance contracts while closely collaborating with the field sales and service teams

  • Review and maintain complete installed base details of controls, fire, security, HVAC and technology or software products & solutions for the region

  • Act as an escalation point and model effective selling behaviors.

  • Foster a customer-centric culture and drive organizational change to meet strategic goals.

  • Identify opportunities for functional improvement and productivity gains through cross-regional collaboration.

  • Develop forecasts and communicate business strategies clearly to your team.

  • Prepare and host stand-ups daily to keep team on track, review KPIs pertaining to the business and foster sharing best practices

  • Provide constructive feedback during customer interactions by shadowing with the inside sales reps.

  • Support skill development and lead training sessions.

  • Build strong relationships with local and national sales & service teams.

  • Promote a performance-driven culture through recognition and team initiatives.

  • Ensure accountability and high performance within your team.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

  • Proven experience leading inside sales teams, ideally in Controls, Fire, Security, HVAC systems and Technology or Software products

  • Strong understanding of inside sales concepts and processes.

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) for business communication.

  • Ability to manage an annual sales pipeline of $5M+.

  • Experience in coaching and motivating teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
