Salary Range
$138,000 to $189, 000 (inclusive of bonus opportunities)
SUMMARY
Works with Director of Sales to develop sales plans that help execute the strategic company objectives. This involves developing strategies and tactics / actions within each Territory to deliver required results. KAP's must be prepared for all target customers outlining required strategies and tactics. The role involves monitoring margins by business segment, customer and product SKU to ensure alignment with company expectations. Responsible for monitoring each Territory against determined budgets / metrics and ensuring adherence to expected performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Set regional and customer budgets to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Determine Regional and Territory sales strategies/ tactics.
- Review / Monitor performance against budgets / dashboards (sales, expenses, margins).
- Adjust strategies / tactics where performance is not meeting expectations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with all customers.
- Travel with team in field to ensure understanding / alignment with company objectives and expectations.
- Develop personnel (staffing) plan to best execute on budgets / objectives.
- Train and develop sales team.
- Monitor sales rep performance and provide training where required.
- Align sales reps and create team approach.
- Ensure succession plans are in place
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in sales and marketing or business.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in sales
- Extensive selling and sales administration experience
- An able public speaker, familiar with all software used in sales presentations
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- An accomplished “people person” able to set and monitor performance standards and take prompt action to recognize superior accomplishment as well as to address sub-standard performance in an appropriate manner
