Job Description:
Business Title: Regional Sales Leader (Northeast)
Position Type: FT
Location: Remote (Northeast)
Reports To: VP, Sales, Americas (Baldwin)
Position Description:
Regional Sales Leader is responsible for selling the Baldwin portfolio of products to new and existing customers within a defined region, with frequent travel to customer sites reviewing customer operating requirements and assisting in the development of solutions for common customer concerns or opportunities, while partnering with Product and Consumables sales leaders, inside sales, engineering and support teams.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Regional Sales Leader is responsible for driving Equipment sales growth in the assigned region.
- Build and maintain relationships with key existing and target customers in core and growth markets within assigned region.
- Provide product technical information by answering questions and requests; demonstrate company’s product capability by preparing and conducting sales presentations and training materials as necessary
- Building an opportunity pipeline and managing the sales cycle to deliver the sales targets for the region.
- Partner with Consumables Sales Leader to identify and drive cloth conversions.
- Assess customer equipment onsite for upgrade/rebuild work
- Collaborate with internal departments in all areas related to sales process – engineering, quotations, customer service, operations and accounting etc.
- Monitor competitive activity and trends in the marketplace; determine value management/positioning of company product in the market and competitive differentiation
- Maintain the CRM system to reflect accurate sales activity, key contacts, account management and opportunity pipeline.
- Provide regional reports as required to support the sales management process (forecasting and tracking)
- Represent the company at trade shows, voice of the customer visits, and other promotional activities as required.
- Other ad hoc projects as required.
Required Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the printing industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experience
- Ability to proficiently write and speak English fluently
- The ability to execute strategies focused on organizational growth
- Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in a matrix organization.
- Experience working inside of the print industry
Supervisory/Responsibility:
Individual contributor w/no direct reports
Work Environment:
This is an office position.
Position Type:
This is a regular, full-time position with frequent overtime. Must be able, available, and willing to work more than 40 hours per week, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
Travel:
Travel could be up to 60-75%

Performing the role frequently uses close vision, speech, hearing, and dexterity to operate office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
