At Stryker, we are looking for a talented, highly motivated sales leader who will be responsible for driving our Extremities business in the Nordics.

Stryker’s innovative Extremities business offers market-leading implants for the treatment of bone fractures. Some examples of our portfolio can be found via:

In this role, you will be part of a high caliber, achievement-driven sales team who shares a strong belief in helping our customers to improve patient care through the use of our products. You will lead your team with full accountability for sales performance, turnover and cost control, ensuring excellent customer service while driving the acquisition of new customers. For this position, you reside either in Finland, Sweden or Norway.

What you will do:

  • In your new role, you will start with a familiarization phase to learn about our portfolio and build relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

  • Lead, develop and inspire a sales team of direct reports: you will coach/develop your team to achieve their full potential and promote an environment that fosters engagement and individual growth. Here, you will also act as a developer of people, creating a future pipeline of talent for Stryker.

  • Support and drive your team strategically and tactically to accelerate business through the Extremities portfolio, in alignment with the annual marketing plan.

  • You will deliver/exceed against the quarterly and yearly business budget whilst managing equipment utilization, recurring revenue pipeline development alongside accurate forecasting vs. budget.

  • Build up a network with key customers, decision-makers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).

  • In close collaboration with Marketing, you will understand and utilize market dynamics to support business acceleration, taking a creative approach to new business development for both current and future technologies. 

  • Provide solutions for customers and KOLs, adding value to the Sales process – resulting in winning business and positive customer experience.

  • Closely support and collaborate with enabling function teams such as tender & pricing, compliance, customer service and finance, to ensure smooth order to cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of service.

  • Collaborate with Sales Managers of other divisions of Stryker to foster cross-departmental opportunities.

What you need:

Required:

  • Degree or equivalent.

  • 8+ years of experience, including Sales and/or Marketing experience in industries such as MedTech, Biotech, Pharma or related.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with proficiency in spoken and written English.

  • You have already proven your leadership skills in successfully managing or coaching a team.

  • Business acumen in setting sales coverage, leveraging territory coverage and customer focus. You have experience in delivering market share growth and financial commitments.

  • Ability to build relationships, excellent collaboration and cross-functional influencing skills & teamwork – your personality also makes it easy for you to inspire, motivate and develop others.

  • Adaptability, analytical and organizational skills with a strategic approach to business planning.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

  • As this position involves customer interactions in the field, you have a valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel in the region.

  • Ethics and integrity in ensuring the delivery of Stryker’s mission of making healthcare better.

Preferred:

  • Orthopaedics/anatomy knowledge is not mandatory, but would be an advantage.

Sweden Pay Ranges:

  • Sweden: kr661.000 - kr1.102.000 SEK Annual

Finland Pay Ranges:

  • Finland: €73.900 - €123.100 EUR Annual

Norway Pay Ranges:

  • Norway: kr774.000 - kr1.290.000 NOK Annual

The compensation information posted for this role may be presented as a salary range or a fixed amount depending on the role.  In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for incentive compensation (such as bonus and/or commissions where applicable), along with Stryker’s comprehensive benefits package.
