Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp is looking to hire a results driven Regional Sales Manager who will oversee the Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota and territories while maintaining professional relationships with current customers. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Toyo product line, including features, benefits, warranties, sizing, and applications
  • Achieve or exceed assigned regional unit and dollar sales goals in all product categories
  • Make dealer calls
  • Inform dealers promptly of campaigns and programs
  • Review dealers’ inventory
  • Follow up on credit related matters
  • Assist and encourage dealers to display and advertise Toyo products
  • Distribute POP material and literature
  • Assist dealers with sales and marketing programs
  • Inform dealers of their purchase records YTD vs. last year’s, YTD vs. target, and YTD vs. Toyo volume categories
  • Solicit orders for all Toyo products as applicable to dealers
  • Establish a dependable dealer network in all markets within assigned region
  • Assist management in establishing profit-minded and cost-conscious practices
  • Develop and maintain good business relationships with major accounts through periodic contacts and proper handling of sales and administrative functions
  • Active individual solicitation and signing of new passenger and light truck dealers as directed in designated markets
  • Present detailed competitive information such as products, prices, sales programs, product problems, etc., regularly
  • Monitor Toyo product performance versus competitors and help identify new product needs for Toyo
  • Maintain customer contact data for all direct and associate dealers in assigned area in Salesforce.com
  • Other duties as assigned

The starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job and/or industry. The salary range listed is what we reasonably expect to compensate generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on the specific job description. We provide a competitive compensation package along with a robust benefits program to meet your needs.

 

The salary range for this position is $87,423.73 to $108,136

Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of Toyo product line, features, benefits, warranties, sizing, and applications
  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed regional unit and dollar sales goals
  • Experience making dealer calls and establishing/maintaining a dependable dealer network
  • Maintain customer contact data and CRM usage (Salesforce.com)
  • Ability to solicit orders and actively sign new passenger and light truck dealers
  • Experience assisting dealers with sales and marketing programs and distributing POP material
  • Ability to review dealer inventory and follow up on credit-related matters
  • Develop and maintain relationships with major accounts and handle sales/administrative functions
  • Monitor product performance versus competitors and present competitive information
