Position Overview

The LATAM Regional Sales Manager is a high-energy, market-building role for a driven professional who is entrepreneurial and excited to partner with our distributors and agents, and expand our presence in the Latin America region. 

This is a pivotal role focused on:

  • Developing and managing regional partners
  • Driving pipeline creation and revenue
  • Expanding relationships with key customers

The role requires a blend of business development, dedicated partner management, and strategic selling, with a focus on creating long-term, scalable growth across the region.  Latin America represents a significant growth opportunity and this role will be critical to develop both existing and emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

 

Market Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Latin America.
  • Build relationships with key customers, industry stakeholders, and influencers.
  • Establish Blentech’s presence in priority markets and segments.
  • Represent Blentech at major Domestic and International Tradeshows.

Agent, Distributor, and Strategic Partner Management

  • Identify, partner, and develop new agents and distributors across the region.
  • Manage partner performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide guidance, structure, and support to improve partner effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with International Agents to track collaborative activities and provide necessary sales support, ensuring our channel strategy is maximized.

Pipeline Development & Sales Support

  • Lead the sales process for complex capital equipment, from discovery and product testing to quoting and final negotiation.
  • Drive consistent creation of qualified opportunities across the region.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify target accounts and applications.
  • Support early-stage customer engagement and qualification.
  • Participate in key opportunities alongside partners and internal teams.
  • Align internal resources (sales, applications, engineering) to support deal development.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Management to develop technical solutions and pricing strategies.

Market Intelligence & Operations

  • Provide insights on regional market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
  • Identify growth opportunities by application, segment, and geography.
  • Support ongoing refinement of Blentech’s LATAM go-to-market strategy.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of all legal documentation, including contracts, Confidentiality Agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and forecasts within Salesforce CRM.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B field sales of industrial capital equipment within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Latin American markets is required. 
  • Background in business development, sales, or channel management.
  • Demonstrated excellence in negotiating and closing sales for complex, high-value systems.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills ranging from production floor to C-Suite.
  • Ability to operate across cultures and navigate diverse business environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a technical field, or Business
  • Experience using CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) to manage sales pipelines.
  • Knowledge of international legal and contractual processes.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required; Portuguese preferred.
  • Relocation to Santa Rosa, CA is required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time domestically and internationally.
  • Food processing industry experience is highly preferred.

 Compensation

  • Type: Full Time
  • Salary Range: $131,000 to $152,000 DOE
  • Benefits: 100% paid Medical, Dental, and Vision for the employee, 401k with match, and PTO.
