The Job's Mission 

Stryker’s Trauma & Extremities division is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead a team of five Sales Representatives in the East Coast area and Andalucía Region of Spain. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager of the Extremities division, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing budgets, and optimizing customer service while fostering strong partnerships with clients. Your leadership will be key in motivating and guiding your team, maximizing customer acquisition, and ensuring the success of your region.

What you will do:

  • Reporting directly into the Business Unit Manager Extremities Iberia, you will lead a sales team to ensure that financial & performance objectives are met
  • Accurately forecast business and a sustainable develop sales pipeline.
  • Attract, develop, engage and lead a high performing sales team, supporting and driving them to accelerate business
  • Support and collaborate with our Enabling Function teams to ensure a smooth Order to Cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of service.
  • Ensure positive and detailed account communication between the team and other in-house teams, providing feedback to senior management as required.
  • Develop strategic healthcare systems relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, such as revenue, sales activities, and conversion rates, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Embrace & enable change to simplify, scale & innovate
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading complex sales cycles typically defined as six months or longer with multiple partners, decision-makers, and influencers at multiple levels.

Requirements of the role:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Administration, Sales or Marketing or related experience/training in a medical, scientific, technical field
  • Native or C2 level of Spanish with advanced level of English (C1)
  • 5+ years of sales experience working with Medical Devices products
  • 2+ years of experience managing direct and indirect sales teams and leading a profit center
  • Experience in operating room

Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):  

  • Experience with sales of Orthopedic implants (ideally Extremities implants)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies

Territory and Travel:

  • Territory: Andalucía, Murcia, Valencia, Catalonia
  • Travel Percentage: 60% (40% overnight)
  • Base Location: Barcelona, Sevilla or any major cities of Andalucía
