Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, Access Control, this Regional Sales Manager acts as a primary contact for the respective VS&A CSE [Channel Sales Executive] team’s selling initiatives with end customers in the assigned territory. This specialist proactively manages customer relationships and deploys sales actions and strategies in order to grow business and meet territory revenue goals. Working alongside the VS&A CSE team, this specialist will drive access control revenue and be the internal ‘go-to’ expert in the access control marketplace.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and grow existing business focused on MSI’s Access Control portfolio with existing and new end customers

  • Work alongside the VS&A CSE Team and leadership to drive access control market share and revenue growth

  • Support Avigilon’s sales activities in the assigned territory and accounts by creating, nurturing, and responding to sales opportunities for Avigilon’s Access Control products and services.

  • Conduct joint sales calls, demos, walk throughs, attend local road shows, track sales activities and quote projects.

  • Work with vertical marketing teams to identify end user engagement opportunities through associations, conferences, and tradeshows.

  • Become the “go to” within internal teams to increase access control market share and revenue

  • Sales Forecasting as required.

  • Maintain CRM data for new and existing account development.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of access control experience

  • Physical security solutions sales experience a plus

  • Experience working with channel strategies and initiatives

  • Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions

  • Proven record of achieving sales results and developing collaborative relationships

  • Team player that thrives in a competitive environment

  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills,

  • Time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment

  • Functional understanding of Microsoft and Google Apps, especially Excel/Sheets

  • Exceptional presentation skills required

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and demonstrate new software at a high level

  • Ability to travel weekly to territory

  • Having an established client base in the assigned territory is a plus

Location & Travel Requirements:

  • Preference will be placed on candidates residing in the Houston Market

  • Travel will be up to 75% of the time.
