Regional Sales Director – Florida

In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic sales direction for the Florida region, overseeing a team of  high-performing sales professionals=. You’ll lead with vision and purpose to accelerate revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer engagement.

Your leadership will be instrumental in driving regional sales performance to exceed targets while forging strong relationships with internal teams, independent business owners, and tens of thousands of customers across a dynamic and diverse market. As a regional leader, you will identify emerging opportunities, anticipate market trends, and develop data-driven strategies to fuel sustainable business growth.

This role demands both strategic oversight and operational execution. You will need to lead from the front—coaching, mentoring, and developing your team while also engaging directly with key customers, resolving escalations, and executing high-impact initiatives that align with the broader business vision.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for the Florida region, aligned with Western Union’s strategic priorities.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Regional Managers and their teams to drive sales execution, customer acquisition, and revenue acceleration.

  • Identify market trends, competitive threats, and new business opportunities to inform strategic planning and regional initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and present insights, progress, and strategic plans to senior and executive leadership.

  • Act as a regional ambassador and trusted advisor to independent business owners, ensuring outstanding service, value delivery, and customer retention.

  • Lead complex customer engagements, resolving challenges with a solution-oriented mindset that drives satisfaction and loyalty.

Role Requirements

  • A seasoned sales executive with 5+ years of leadership experience at the Director level or above, ideally within consumer financial services, fintech, or a related high-velocity sales environment.

  • Proven ability to lead multi-tiered sales teams, manage through managers, and scale performance across large geographies.

  • A strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insight into clear action plans and measurable results.

  • Comfortable operating in a matrixed global organization and engaging with senior executives.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

  • Willing and able to travel 35% within the region.

Salary
The base salary for this role is $135,000 – $150,000 USD annually plus a sales compensation plan and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.

Location: Work from Home and Travel Within the Field Territory
