Investment Management - InvestmentsJoin our dynamic Prudential Group Insurance (GI) Medical Stop Loss (MSL) Distribution team as a Manager, Account Management & RFP Intake. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Account Managers who strategically consult with and support the MSL Regional Sales directors. This role is focused on leading a team of MSL Account Managers to support customer retention, add issue generation and achievement of our financial and service goals for the Medical Stop Loss business in addition to leading the objectives of the RFP intake processes managed by the SSA team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the leading and training the execution of the MSL segment relationship management strategy within their assigned region supporting customers with greater than 100 lives and varying complexities.
• Attract, retain, and develop top MSL Regional Account Manager talent, offering direct coaching and overseeing account management activities for MSL customers.
• Collaborate with the MSL Vice President of Distribution to achieve or surpass performance metrics and objectives for service, customer service, installation, and RFP processing.
• Foster strong relationships with internal business partners, sales executives, brokers, customers, and third-party administrators to ensure high-quality service, customer satisfaction, persistency, and profitability.
• Support and lead MSL RAM's and Sales with daily customer and producer engagements, assist with escalations, and participate in annual business planning and reviews to understand regional dynamics, books of business, and producer/customer relationships.
• Active participation and engagement in regional summit, strategic projects, and initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Proven leadership experience in account management, preferably within the financial or insurance sector.
• Knowledge and understanding of pricing and general underwriting concepts.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Outstanding skills in building relationships and effective communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to collaborate across various teams and departments to achieve common goals.
• Active Group Life and Health Insurance license or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Manage a small portfolio of clients on a direct basis (ten or less).
• Minimum of 15% travel required
What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $106,000.00 to $174,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
